Abstract

Inovasi teknologi dalam pelayanan kesehatan merupakan sebuah proses sosio-teknologis kompleks yang melampaui sekadar pengenalan prosedur klinis baru; ia melibatkan transformasi mendalam dalam praktik profesional, kapasitas organisasi, produksi pengetahuan, serta pola adaptasi manusia terhadap teknologi.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis trajektori longitudinal inovasi bedah mata sebagai refleksi dari kematangan teknologi dan dinamika manajemen inovasi dalam sistem sosial kesehatan. Dengan menggunakan desain analisis trajektori bibliometrik retrospektif, penelitian ini mengkaji 97.458 publikasi ophthalmology yang terindeks PubMed selama periode 2016–2025. Tiga domain bedah utama—phacoemulsification, vitrectomy, dan trabeculoplasty—dianalisis menggunakan sistem Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) untuk mengidentifikasi pola kematangan dan transisi prosedural. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa phacoemulsification (5.654 publikasi) telah mencapai fase stabilisasi pasca-adopsi (post-adoption stabilization), di mana penurunan pertumbuhan publikasi mencerminkan konsolidasi pengetahuan dan standarisasi praktik profesional yang matang. Vitrectomy (2.373 publikasi) menunjukkan pola inovasi inkremental yang berkelanjutan melalui penyempurnaan teknik yang konstan. Sementara itu, trabeculoplasty menunjukkan terjadinya transisi semantik dan prosedural, yang mengindikasikan adanya pergeseran paradigma dalam masyarakat kedokteran menuju teknologi intervensi baru seperti MIGS. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa dinamika literatur ilmiah merupakan indikator penting bagi adaptasi sistem sosial terhadap perubahan teknologi. Penurunan pertumbuhan publikasi pada teknologi matang tidak selayaknya dimaknai sebagai kegagalan teknis, melainkan sebagai fase kemandirian teknologi dalam praktik keseharian. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi strategis bagi manajemen inovasi humanis, khususnya dalam perencanaan pendidikan profesional yang berkelanjutan, adaptasi struktur organisasi, serta pengembangan kebijakan kesehatan yang responsif terhadap evolusi pengetahuan manusia.
