Pengaruh Hubungan Parasosial Terhadap Kesepian Emosional Laki-laki Dewasa Awal

Masa dewasa awal (18-29 tahun) merupakan fase transisi yang penuh dengan perubahan sosial dan emosional, di mana banyak laki-laki dewasa awal kesepian emosional, akibat kurangnya emosional dan tekanan norma maskulinitas. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan emosional, tersebut, sebagian membentuk hubungan parasosial, yakni keterikatan satu arah dengan tokoh media. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji sejauh mana pengaruh tingkat keterlibatan hubungan parasosial terhadap tingkat kesepian emosional pada laki-laki dewasa awal.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan 201 responden laki-laki dan di proses menggunakan regresi linier sederhana, mengukur hubungan parasosial melalui Celebrity Attitude Scale dan kesepian emosional melalui SELSA. Hasil menunjukkan hubungan parasosial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesepian emosional (r = 0,345; p = 0,000 < 0,05) dengan R2 = 0.119, sehingga 11.9% variasi kesepian emosional dijelaskan oleh hubungan parasosial.
